Round 7 Vikings Under 16’s vs Snappers
The under 16’s Vikings were well matched by a strong Snappers team today at Oxley Oval. Both forward packs pushed for dominance early in the game with the Snappers scrum proving much stronger initially.

The Vikings had a second and third try prior to the halftime break.
With the sun behind them in the second half the Vikings pack stepped up and although several players were called upon to play out of position, kept working to score twice more and kept the Snappers to nil for the half.
The Viking’s backline defence was a real standout in the 31-5 victory.
